Pinkberry Co-Founder Denies Charges That He Beat a Homeless Man

The co-founder of the frozen yogurt chain pleaded not guilty to one count of assault with a deadly weapon after he was accused of beating a homeless man with a tire iron.

The co-founder of the frozen yogurt chain pleaded not guilty Thursday to one count of assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly attacking a homeless man with a tire iron, KPCC reported.

Young Lee, 47, is accused of breaking a homeless man's arm and causing other injuries after an altercation in Los Angeles, according to KPCC. His attorney told the Los Angeles Times that the homeless man threatened him.

Pinkberry has more than 180 stores in 17 countries, including , according to the Pinkberry website.
