Quizno's Out, Yogurtland In

Monrovia's sandwich options are dwindling but its yogurt offerings are looking up.

The Quizno's in Old Town at 104 S. Myrtle has closed, but a new yogurt shop is already planning to move in.

Yogurtland, which has more than 170 locations in the U.S., Mexico, and Guam, bills itself as the "number one self-serve yogurt brand in America," according to the company's website. It will need to be at the top of its yogurt game, as it joins a crowded frozen treat landscape in Old Town that already includes a Pinkberry, Cherry on Top, Coldstone Creamery, and Baskin Robbins within a one mile radius.
