Teacher Appreciation Week: Share Your Praise for Monrovia Teachers Here

We all had teachers who made a difference in our lives, and recognizing those teachers becomes especially important as budget cuts make their jobs even harder.

One week isn't enough time to show appreciation for the people who educate our children, but at least it's a start.

This week marks "Teacher Appreciation Week," and it couldn't come at a better time. With all the bad news coming out of school districts these days--, the , the --this week marks a perfect time to step back and thank those that have helped you and helped your children grow and succeed.

We'll start off the praise by thanking Monrovia High Renaissaince Coordinator Paul Dols, who has been blogging with us about the students at MHS who have been admitted to 4-year universities. The idea is to recognize them in the same way athletes are celebrated for signing with colleges, and we think it's a good one. Thank you Paul!
