Two Detained in Monrovia Street Robbery

Two suspects in a Monrovia street robbery that led to a manhunt Thursday have been detained, police said Friday.

A police helicopter aided in the search of three suspects who allegedly robbed someone of money near the intersection of Colorado Avenue and Violet Avenue Thursday night, Monrovia Police Sgt. Pat Newton said.

Newton did not know any information about the identity of the victim, how much money was taken, or how the robbery took place. She declined to identify the two suspects, whom she initially said were arrested and booked.
