The Annual Montrose Oktoberfest is Back This Saturday October 1
German beer, brats, entertainment, games, rides, lots of shopping and dining happening on Honolulu Ave. in the scenic Montrose Shopping Park

It's BACK and everyone is excited! Once again the aroma of authentic German bratwurst will fill the air as the annual MONTROSE OKTOBERFEST takes place this Saturday, October 1 in the Montrose Shopping Park. Presented by the Montrose Verdugo City Chamber Of Commerce, it's their major event of the year that draws thousands from all over Southern California. For one day you will feel like you have been transported to Germany, the tastes, the sounds, the costumes, and the festive atmosphere.
The star of the show is the brats. Grilled to order on an open flame, they can be found throughout all three blocks of Honolulu Ave. Order them on fresh rolls topped with sauerkraut and mustard or as a dinner plate with sides.
To accompany those brats there will be no shortage of beer. Ice cold German beers, craft beers, beer on tap and bottled beer will all be represented both outdoors by the chamber and indoors and on the patios of many Montrose Shopping Park restaurants. Each year Thee Elbow Room (pictured here) goes all out for the occasion.
