Police said about $1,650 in damage was caused to the Glendale Flower and Gift Shop in Montrose on Saturday by burglars, according to the Glendale News-Press.
The burglary was reported about about 9 a.m. on the 3400 block of Ocean View Boulevard when the owners discovered the front glass door was smashed, according to the report.
The Crescenta Valley Weekly reported that officers found the cash register had been forced open and emptied of cash, and the electricity had been turned off in the business.
