One person was taken into custody in connection with a fire at Mesa Verde Middle School Wednesday morning, the Ventura County Star reports.
Authorities responded to reports at 12:55 a.m. of an audible alarm set off at the school, located in the 14000 block of Peach Hill Road, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the Star said.
The fire was extinguished, and one person was arrested, said the Star.
