Dump Truck Rolls Over, Kills Driver
The accident occurred just west of Tapo Canyon Park near Simi Valley.

A man died Wednesday morning near Simi Valley when his dump truck rolled over him.
Adan Baro Sanchez, 46, of Pacoima was driving on private property on Bennet Road, west of Tapo Canyon Park, when he stopped his 1996 Peterbilt truck on an easement just past a gate on the property, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The address corresponds with P.W. Gillibrand Co., Inc., a contstruction aggregate company that provides golf course and sports turf, equestrian sand, playground and recreational sand and construction gravel among other products.

Sanchez apparently exited his truck to possibly close the gate when his vehicle began rolling, according to statement issued by the CHP.
Sanchez then attempted to get inside the truck, but instead the truck rolled over him as it traveled approximately 200 feet, the CHP reported. The truck crashed into a fence and came to rest on its wheels in a dirt field.

The driver was pronounced dead on the scene by emergency personnel.
The incident remains under investigation by the Moorpark California Highway Patrol.
