Moorpark Active Adult Center Plans Legal Workshop for Seniors

The Moorpark Active Adult Center will host a free legal workshop for seniors later this month.

The workshop will share practical information about several common legal issues such as health care directives, creating wills, power of attorney and caregiver's authorization affidavits.

Topics like grandchildren and legal relationships, housing disputes, communication and overcoming conflicts, hiring legal professionals, when you need the courts and covering legal terms will also be explored.

The workshop is being offered in partnership with the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging at 10 a.m. May 20 at the Active Adult Center, 799 Moorpark Ave.
