Moorpark College President Accepts Massachusets Job
Ventura County Community College District will hire an interim president to replace Dr. Pam Eddinger until a permanent replacement is found.

Moorpark College will soon be getting new leadership. It's president, Dr. Pam Eddinger, has accepted a new position.
Eddinger was officially appointed president of Bunker Hill Community College by the Massachusets Board of Higher Education on April 30.
The search for a new president at Moorpark College will begin soon, but in the mean time, to ensure a smooth transition, the Ventura County Community College District will hire an interim president for the school. The district anticipates a permanent replacement will be in place by June 30 of next year.

Calling Eddinger an exceptional leader and tireless advocate for students, Dr. Jamillah Moore, chancellor of the community college district, said she's made a positive impact on the students' lives.
"We are so very proud and excited for Dr. Eddinger. She is a proven leader with a track record for results, and we are confident she will serve the students and staff of Bunker Hill Community College well," Moore said.

Eddinger served as Moorpark College’s executive vice president from 2005 to 2008 and was selected Moorpark College President in June 2008. Prior to her time at Moorpark College, Eddinger served as executive vice president and chief academic officer at Massachusetts Bay Community College.
Eddinger holds a Ph.D. and Master’s Degree in Japanese Literature from Columbia University, New York, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Barnard College, New York.
