• Cops Bust Neighborhood Dealers (crimevoice.com) — Moorpark residents saw a major police operation Dec. 5 when sheriff’s detectives served a search warrant at a local home, seizing methamphetamine, fentanyl, marijuana and alleged sales paraphernalia. Several people were arrested on suspicion of drug-related offenses and probation violations, and those booked into Ventura County Jail are being held without bail as the investigation continues. 
• Several earthquakes reported in near Fillmore in Ventura County, USGS says (nbclosangeles.com) — Moorpark residents may have felt light shaking Thursday morning as a series of small earthquakes, the largest magnitude 3.3, struck near Fillmore in Ventura County. USGS reports show tremors were felt in Moorpark and nearby cities, and experts remind residents that aftershocks can continue and that preparedness, including emergency kits, remains important.
