• Big changes afoot at Moorpark College as future needs are met (mpacorn.com) — Major renovations are underway at Moorpark College, with multimillion-dollar projects modernizing key buildings, student spaces, and infrastructure despite tight funding and a delayed bond measure. From a rebuilt Administration Building and upgraded Campus Center to a new MESA Center, Student Services hub, and Teaching Zoo improvements, the campus is being reshaped to better serve current and future Moorpark-area students.
   

• ‘The Mules' on the move (mpacorn.com) — A long-distance traveler known as the Monk is walking with his mule Rosie through Ventura County and asking directions to Moorpark, where he expected to arrive Jan. 8. Their decades-long nomadic journey highlights road safety for equestrians, minimalist living, and respectful use of public space as they migrate seasonally across California and the West.
