Temperatures in the 90s are expected later this week.

Things are heating up in Moorpark and, by the end of the week, it will be downright HOT if the National Weather Service is correct in its predictions.
Though Wednesday will be only about 83 degrees, Thursday's high is expected to jump 10 degrees and by Friday, temperatures are expected to hit 99 degrees before cooling for the weekend.
Parts of Moorpark might also experience heavy winds, according to the NWS.

"A late season offshore wind event will bring moderate to locally strong northeast winds to the mountains and valleys of Ventura and Los Angeles counties late Tuesday into Wednesday continuing through Thursday evening," the NWS reported through a special weather statement.
The offshore winds will also bring a prolonged period of very low humidity, which combined with hot temperatures and winds will bring red flag warning conditions to the mountain and valley areas.
