
SAN JACINTO, CA — Riverside County Fire Department firefighters battled a pair of brush fires that burned a total of 13 acres in San Jacinto Sunday.
The two fires were reported at 1:55 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Soboba and Lake Park Roads, where they were burning in close proximity and at a moderate rate, the fire department announced.
The forward progress of the fires was stopped around 4:30 p.m.
