4th Graders Host Story Time for Elders
Students fromm Cole Canyon Elementary connected with seniors at Vineyard Place through their favorite stories.
Fourth Graders from Cole Canyon Elementary recently shared their love of reading with seniors at Vineyard Place, an Anthem Memory care community, located at 24325 Washington Ave., Murrieta.
The students from Mrs. Cynthia Calvillo-Murray’s class chose their favorite story books to read to the residents during the social session.
“It is a great way to showcase intergenerational connections, and it brings joy to everyone involved,” said Christopher Balmes, life engagement director for Vineyard Place. “We hope new friendships will be a result of this wonderful time together.”
