6 Sex Offenders On Probation, Parole Found Out Of Compliance In RivCo

PERRIS, CA — Six out-of-compliance sex offenders living in Perris were in custody Friday following a sex offender parole and probation compliance check in that city, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.

Thursday at 8 a.m., multiple enforcement teams conducted the check at 30 locations, investigating 50 different sex offender registrants in the area, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Dave Tinker. Those arrested included:

• 37-year-old Geavanni Chavez
• 31-year-old Pablo Ramirez, on a parole hold
• 56-year-old Jerry Martinez, on a suspected probation violation
• 44-year-old Frederick Neel on a stolen vehicle warrant,
• 41-year-old Joe Ortega on suspicion of theft
• 29-year-old Matthew Zavala on a drug warrant,.

All six were taken into custody without incident, according to the department.

Inmate records indicated that Martinez and Zavala were held at the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta while four others were taken to the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside.

According to Tinker's statement, the operation aims to ensure compliance with state laws and applicable conditions outlined in their parole and probation terms.
