RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — State Route 91 to northbound state Route 71 connectors will be closed in both directions overnight on Monday for lighting installations, the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) announced Friday.

Vehicles will not have access to these freeways from either direction, with the westbound connector shutting down from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., and the eastbound connector shutting down from 10 p.m. to 6 p.m., according to an RCTC press release issued Friday.

The closure times will be used by crews to install lines of overhead lighting equipment as part of the 71/91 Interchange Project, expected to be completed in 2025.
