Aldi Officially Opens Store On Clinton Keith Road In Murrieta
The new Aldi grocery store location celebrated its grand opening Thursday.

MURRIETA, CA — The no-frills discount grocery chain with roots in Germany has officially opened its second Murrieta location.
Aldi grocery store celebrated its grand opening Thursday at 28230 Clinton Keith Road, in The Vineyard shopping center across the street from Vista Murrieta High School.
"We’re excited to open our ... Aldi store in Murrieta and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping," Tom Cindel, Moreno Valley regional VP for Aldi. told Winsight Grocery Business.

The discount grocer offers everything found in traditional supermarkets, including produce, meats and seafood, dairy items, baked goods, pantry staples, cereals, baby and pet products, household goods, alcohol, frozen foods, personal care items, and more.
“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier, and we’ve been voted the price leader for six years running,” according to Cindel.

The Clinton Keith Road store is one of 120 new U.S. Aldi locations planned in 2023. The company is targeting to have more than 2,400 stores nationwide by the end of the year.
As part of the rapid expansion, Aldi said it is adding nearly 2,000 new employees to support the additional store count. As of Wednesday, there were no current job openings in Murrieta, according to the company's online career portal.
In addition to the Clinton Keith store, Aldi has a second Murrieta location at 39025 Date Street.
In 1961, the Albrecht family founded a discount grocery store in Germany. Sixteen years later in 1976, the family opened its first Aldi store in Iowa. Today, the international company has its U.S. headquarters in Batavia, Illinois.
