Jordan Boone, 32, was booked on arson.

MURRIETA, CA -- Authorities announced this week the arrest of a man who is suspected of starting 13 fires in Riverside County. Jordan Boone, 32, was arrested earlier this month for allegedly setting multiple fires within the Diamond Valley Lake Recreational boundaries, Cal Fire officials said.

Officials believe Boone is responsible for starting a series of 13 fires on March 2 in the area. Officers were able to link Boone as the person responsible for setting nine wildland fires and four property fires within a 30 minute span, Cal Fire officials said.

Boone was transported to Southwest Detention Center where he was booked on charges of arson of a structure or forest land and arson of property.
