'Completely In Love': Dalani Garibay Named 1st Baby Of 2026 At Murrieta's Rancho Springs Hospital

MURRIETA, CA — Dalani Garibay was born just minutes into the new year at Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta earning the title of the hospital’s first baby of the year.

Dalani was born at 12:04 a.m. at The Family Birth Center, weighing 9 pounds, 0 ounces, and measuring 20 inches long, hospital officials said.

"Her mom, Dorian, shared that Dalani has changed their lives forever, and big brothers Santino and Vincino are completely in love," Barbie Ray, a spokesperson for the hospital, shared with Patch.

A total of nine babies were born on New Year’s Day at Rancho Springs Hospital, but Dalani was the first to arrive in 2026.
