Downed Motorcycle, Multi-Car Crash Slows SB I-15, I-215 Commute

MURRIETA, CA — Drivers heading southbound on both I-15 and I-215 from Murrieta through Temecula were stalled due to an injury crash, California Highway Patrol reported.

Just after 7 a.m., a motorcycle and another vehicle collided near the slow lane near the I-15 and Temecula Parkway (SR-79) offramp, according to CHP reports. Multiple vehicles were involved, according to reports, including a white Dodge Challenger, a red pickup truck, and a big rig. All were moved to the slow lane and the shoulder as emergency responders waited for tow trucks.

An ambulance was called to the scene, and only minor injuries were reported as of 8 a.m.
