Fire Damages Murrieta Home

MURRIETA, CA — A fire Thursday damaged a two-story home in Murrieta.

The blaze was reported at 12:24 p.m. in the 39000 block of Via Temprano.

When Murrieta Fire and Rescue crews arrived at the scene, heavy smoke was billowing from the home's second story.

Firefighters knocked the blaze down in about 15 minutes. There were no immediate reports of injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
