Tell us about your business and its history in your town.

My wife and I have been making and selling peanut brittle since 2002. We started with just peanut brittle and now have over 20 flavors. We have had a booth at the Old Town Temecula Farmers’ Market for 18 years.

How has the new coronavirus impacted your business and its employees?

When it first started, there was a serious concern for the older generation being more at risk. I am a retired Marine and my wife and I are both in our 80s, so we decided to go strictly to selling our brittle online. Because we are not at the farmers market, our sales have dropped considerably. We have an employee who helps with the website and delivers orders for us.

How can local customers support you now and in the future?

We have an online store that folks can order from. We have all of our flavors listed there and also some variety gift boxes and tins. If you love brittle that is really flavorful and is light and airy and won’t hurt your teeth, check out our website. We have quite a selection that will suit everyone’s taste.

Do you have any words of encouragement for your community?

Yes! Hang in there! We can get through this if we support one another. Also, we believe in the power of prayer!

Are you offering any special services, promotions or hours during this time?

Yes! If you live in Temecula, Murrieta or Menifee, we are offering free delivery with a $25 minimum purchase. Just go to our website to order and use the coupon code: FREEDELIVERY .

Are there any other outstanding businesses in town you think deserve some community support?

There are so many! If you can support the Old Town Temecula Farmers’ Market, by getting some of your produce and other food items there in person, or contacting the vendors that are no longer at the market to order from them directly, or on their websites. We know they could all use some support right now.
