Why is everyone so looking forward to returning to the Murrieta Hot Springs resort? The property first opened in 1902 and has since changed hands multiple times before spending years as an exclusive Christian Bible College property. It was purchased over a year ago and since has had $50 million in renovations and revitalization, according to a report from the LA Times.

The waters are allegedly healing, according to the resort's medical director, Dr. Marcus Coplin.
"It comes out of the ground at about 125 to 130 degrees, depending," Coplin said. "The water is cooled to around 104 degrees for bathing." Cold pools on the property also promote healing, enhance circulation, reduce inflammation, and uplift mood and cellular health, according to Coplin in the LA Times report.
