Motorcyclist Escapes Critical Injury In Fiery Murrieta Crash
Los Alamos Road was closed in both directions as crews extinguished the blaze.
MURRIETA, CA — A motorcyclist escaped serious injury after a fiery crash Monday evening in Murrieta.
The solo-vehicle wreck was reported at 5:59 p.m. at the intersection of Los Alamos Road and Via Santee, near Rail Ranch Elementary School.
A photojournalist who works with Patch arrived at the scene. He spoke to the rider and took photos of the burning sport bike.

According to the rider, who was suffering a hand injury, the motorcycle caught fire during his ride. He was treated by arriving paramedics.
