Murrieta Drivers Can Expect Delays Amid I-15 Work This Week

Motorists are urged to reduce their speed while driving near the work zone.

MURRIETA, CA — Southwest Riverside County commuters can expect delays this week as Caltrans begins work on Interstate 15 in Murrieta.

Elsinore Maintenance crews will be working on Thursday, Sept. 25, and Friday, Sept. 26, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day, according to Caltrans.

On Thursday, crews will close the southbound I-15 off-ramp and circle on-ramp at California Oaks Road to complete an attenuator replacement operation. On Friday, the closure will affect only the southbound I-15 circle on-ramp at California Oaks Road for the same type of work.
