A fire burning in Pacific Palisades has scorched over 11,000 acres. This Murrieta resident was able to get photos of it from a distance.
MURRIETA, CA — A Murrieta resident was able to get a photo of an out-of-control blaze burning in Pacific Palisades on Tuesday evening before it doubled in size.
The first image, shot by Nancy R. Ahern, is of a sunset on a beach in Santa Monica. The sky was painted pink and red hues, with the sun framed by an ominous ring of thick smoke. In the second photo, Ahern captured the sandy beach with smoke billowing overhead from Pacific Palisades.
