Murrieta Senior Celebrated For 'Sense Of Humor, Kind Heart, Hard Work'

MURRIETA, CA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from mother, Racquel, who nominated her daughter Briannah, a senior in Murrieta.

How do you know the star local student?

I'm her Mum.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Briannah has been a scholar athlete for all 4 years of High School. She is captain of her varsity lacrosse team again as well as captain of her track and field tiem. She is the president of Link Crew.

Briannah is also a black belt in American Kenpo Karate. She has been grand champion hunter jumper 5 years in a row in greater San Diego as well as the inland empire addiction as grand champion.

According to her mother, Briannah has a love for animals and house-sits many dogs, horses and other animals.

"She makes sure to volunteer at various youth sports," her mother said. "Briannah loves her little brother her dogs and horses. She will be attending University of Redlands on a sports scholarship."

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Her sense of humor, integrity, hard work, and kind heart are how she lives her day.
