Road Rage Leads To Fatal Shooting In Menifee: PD
The victim died at the scene Monday night near the intersection of Scott and Haun roads.
MENIFEE, CA — A 36-year-old driver is dead, and a 47-year-old Menifee man is suspected of gunning him down as part of a road rage incident in Menifee on Monday night.
Ryan Travis Dabe was arrested following the violence that was first reported at about 9:30 p.m. near Bundy Canyon Road and Interstate 15 in Wildomar.
The alleged road rage involving two vehicles continued into Menifee. Near the intersection of Scott and Haun roads, Dabe discharged a firearm, striking the other vehicle's driver in his upper body, Menifee police said.

The victim died at the scene. As of early Tuesday afternoon, the coroner's office had not released his identity.
Dabe stopped near the shooting scene. After questioning by police, he was arrested on suspicion of murder. He is being held at Southwest Detention Center in lieu of $1 million bail and is due in court on Thursday, according to jail records.
