Traffic, Where To Park For Murrieta High School Graduation Ceremonies

The following information was provided by the Murrieta Police Department:

MURRIETA, CA — The Murrieta Police Department takes pride in working with the Murrieta Valley Unified School District and helping to get out the information for graduation parking.

Vista Murrieta, Murrieta Valley, and Murrieta Mesa High School graduations are all taking place this Thursday, June 1, 2023 with ceremonies beginning at 6:00 PM. So yes, traffic is going to be a little busy throughout the entire city, as are the restaurants. Plan on arriving early and keep in mind, handicapped spaces have been increased but are still limited!

VISTA MURRIETA is offering shuttle service from Dorothy McElhinney Middle School, located at 35125 Briggs Rd beginning at 4:00 PM. They will have 4-6 busses continually going between the schools.

There is absolutely NO PARKING in the Costco parking lot or along Clinton Keith – you will run the risk of being towed. – colored red

• Handicapped parking is located on the practice fields with access off Clinton Keith and Bronco Way – colored blue.
Additional handicapped spots are in the main lots.

• All general parking is in the student and teacher lots, access off Clinton Keith or Whitewood – colored yellow.

MURRIETA VALLEY – no shuttle service. There is NO PARKING along Nighthawk

• Handicapped parking is located on the field off of Fullerton Road – colored blue
Additional handicapped spots are in the main lots.

• All general parking is in the student and teacher lots on the north and west sides of the school with access off of Nighthawk or Hayes– colored yellow

• Parking restrictions are waived for the west side of Washington

MURRIETA MESA – no shuttle service. There is NO PARKING in the Target and Reading Cinemas parking lots, the medical parking lots off Symphony Park and Monroe, or on Hospitality Lane (Including Rival Coffee and Holiday Inn). You run the risk of being towed

• Handicapped parking is located on the north side of the main parking lot with access off of Monroe– colored blue
Additional handicapped spots are in the south and east lots.

• All general parking is in the student lot, Softball lot (on the east side of Monroe) and overflow will be on the soccer fields with entry off Old Monroe/Hospitality Lane. – colored yellow

• Parking restrictions are waived along Monroe between Los Alamos and Symphony Park
