5 Days Of Maintenance Planned On Hwy 29 Elm Tunnel North Of St. Helena

One-way traffic control will be in place during the maintenance work slated for next week, Caltrans announced.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Caltrans will be implementing one-way traffic controls next week on state Highway 29 just north of St. Helena within the Elm Tunnel.

Five consecutive days of tree maintenance work are scheduled daily, starting at 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., from Monday, Feb. 27, through Friday, March 3 within the Elm Tunnel on SR-29.

For worker and public safety, crews will have one-way traffic control in place on SR-29 during the maintenance work hours.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and exercise caution while driving in this area. All work is weather and conditions permitting, Caltrans said.
