Update: Police Say Missing 15-Year-Old Newark Boy Could Be a Runaway

Andre Sein-Colon, 15, was last seen at Newark Junior High School Friday evening.

Police believe that a 15-year-old boy who did not return home after school Friday could be a runaway, according to Officer Aaron Slater.

Slater said that police are still searching for the teenager because he is required to take medication. The teen is identified as Andre Sein-Colon. He is described to be a black male who is 5-foot-1 and 111 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Andre is currently using cruches and is said to be at-risk because he takes medication twice a day, police said.

Sgt. Ray Hoppe said the 15-year-old was last seen around 6 p.m. Friday at , where he was enrolled and attending an after school program.

Hoppe said there is a possibility that the teenager traveled to Oakland, which is where he recently lived.
