Cops Searching For Burglary Suspects After Two Homes Were Targeted Wednesday

One burglary was interrupted, while another resulted in the loss of a motorcycle, hunting jackets and beer.

Police are searching for three male suspects who are believed to be responsible for two separate home burglaries that occurred Wednesday, authorities said.

The first reported burglary was interrupted when two suspects broke through the front door of a home on the 35600 block of Orleans Drive around 10:30 a.m., but fled once an occupant spotted them, according to Newark Police Department statement.

One male suspect is described as 6 foot with short hair and of medium build wearing a blue shirt.

The second male suspect is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-7 of medium bulid who is about 20 years old. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans and has short hair shaved on the sides.

The pair was last seen fleeing in a light blue colored passenger van with blacked out windows, police said.

Approximately five hours later, officers responded to the 35200 block of Farnham Drive after a resident reported that someone had taken his Yamaha TTR 50 motorcycle, two hunting jackets and beer from his garage, authorities. said.

A neighbor told officers he had seen an unknown male “prowling” near the home before the burglary, police said.
