Newark Has Talent: Share Your Creative Work With Patch

NEWARK, CA — For a long time, we’ve been asking Patch readers to submit photos of their hometowns, and you haven’t disappointed.

From vibrant flowers, playful cats and vegetable gardens to stunning scenic photos, you’ve shown the beauty, joy, and creativity that abounds in the area.

But photography is just one aspect of that creative magic.

We want to broaden our “Photo of the Day” series to “Newark Has Talent,” We’re open to all kinds of submissions: fiction, personal essays, poetry, fine arts — perhaps a YouTube video of you playing the cello.

In addition to providing local news, we hope to be a community forum for the arts. If we like what we see, you could get a top spot on our newsletter, and share your work with thousands of readers.
