The Newark Unified School District is inviting the community to attend a public meeting tonight.
The meeting will focus on the school district’s vision to improve schools, and “how the Ruschin site factors into planned improvements,” according to a flyer posted on the NUSD website.
The district is planning to sell the former Ruschin Elementary School, which, up until a recent financial dispute, was being rented by the League of Volunteers.
Tonight’s meeting will held from 6 to 7 p.m. at NUSD’s Board Training Room, located at 5715 Musick Ave.
