Newark Police are advising drivers to avoid Stevenson Boulevard by Cherry Street, while they respond to a vehicle collision.
West bound Stevenson Boulevard is closed. Southbound Cherry Street is also closed, according to Newark Police.
Police expect traffic to be detoured until at least 6 pm.
