Where to Egg Hunt in Newark

Get those egg hunt baskets ready!

Two egg hunting events will be held this month, with the first being hosted by NewPark Mall.

NewPark Mall's 2nd Annual Easter Eggstravaganza will be held on March 16 from noon to 3 p.m.

The event will include prizes, arts and crafts, music, and a digital photo booth. Click here for more information.

The following week, the City of Newark is slated to host its annual Family Fun Day at the Park event, full of egg hunts, family-friendly activities, games and more.

Newark Recreation and Community Services Staff, the Newark Optimist Club, the Newark Rotary Club and the Easter bunny invite families to celebrate a day of fun at the spectacular Family Day at the Park!

Bring your Easter Basket and your camera for a special picture with the bunny. 

Hunt Start Times:(Depending on the weather, the location of each egg hunt will be determined!)

• 9:30 a.m. - 3 years old and under
• 10 a.m. - 4-5 year olds
• 10:30am - K-1st graders
• 11 a.m. - 2-5th graders
