The yard art -- belonging to a 7-year-old girl with autism -- was stolen from the front yard of a home on the 6200 block of Dairy Avenue last Tuesday, according to the Bay Area News Group.
The cherished lawn ornament was given to the girl as a gift from her grandfather and has sentimental value to her, BANG reports.
Any person with any information about the theft is asked to contact the Newark Police Department at 510-578-4237. Anonymous tips can also be left on the “silent witness” hotline at 510-578-4000, extension 500.
