The public is invited to the free egg hunt on Saturday, April 7 at 9 a.m. Set against pristine views of the Back Bay, more than 8,000 eggs (many filled with candy, cash & prizes) will be hidden on the west beach. The Easter Bunny will kick-off the hunt, which will be staggered into three age categories: 5 and under, 6-9, and 10 and up! In addition to the egg hunt families will enjoy:
- Pancake Breakfast: Served from 9 a.m. to noon this Newport Dunes tradition includes a buffet of pancakes, juice and coffee. Adults: $12; Children under 12: $9.
- Camp James Activities: A highlight of the day's festivities will be exciting rides and activities provided by Camp James including a rock wall and bounce house. Tickets for these activities can be found hidden in some eggs during the hunt.
- Easter Crafts: For just $1, children may participate in creative Easter fun, designing windsocks, picture frames, bunny masks and other holiday-themed arts and crafts from 9am to 12 noon.
