1 Killed, 1 Trapped In Sepulveda Boulevard Crash
Firefighters worked to free one person who was trapped in the wreckage of the crash near Eden Memorial Park cemetery.
MISSION HILLS, CA — A two-car crash on Sepulveda Boulevard in Mission Hills left one person dead at the scene and trapped another person in the wreckage Monday.
The crash happened at about 5:15 p.m. in the area of 13470 Sepulveda Blvd., near Rinaldi Street and the Eden Memorial Park cemetery, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived to find one person was already dead. They worked to free a second person who had non-life-threatening injuries, according to Stewart. That person was taken to a nearby hospital.

The identity of the person killed was withheld pending notification of their next of kin.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
