450 Comcast and NBCUniversal Employees Beautify Lankershim Elementary School

Volunteers paint 20 wall murals, 31 college murals, 10 storage bin murals, as well as plant and mulch in the school's green areas.

In Los Angeles, over 450 Comcast and NBCUniversal employees along with families and friends helped to beautify in North Hollywood with non-profit partner, City Year Los Angeles.

Ron Meyer (President & COO, Universal Studios), Bob Greenblatt (Chairman, NBC Entertainment), Suzanne Kolb (President, E!) and Steve Dolcemaschio (President, Comcast Entertainment Studios) kicked off the day by thanking volunteers and presenting a $25,000 check to City Year Los Angeles from The Comcast Foundation.

While grooving to tunes from Scratch DJ Academy and sipping on Jamba Juice smoothies, volunteers painted 20 wall murals, 31 college murals, 10 storage bin murals, as well as planted and mulched in the school's green areas. Six of the twenty wall murals were art created by Lankershim Elementary School students (K-5th grades).
