2011 San Fernando Valley Children's Day

Children's Day is celebrated worldwide.

According to the event's Web site:

There will be a Kid's Activities Fair that will feature over 100 opportunities for our Valley youth, divided into six villages: The Sports Village; the Creative Arts Village; the Education Village; The Neighborhood Village, the Health & Safety Village; and the Career Village.

Radio Disney iwill be doing a special program on the Children's Stage from 10:30 - 1:30.

ESPN X Games will have a skateboard clinic and the world's largest skateboard.  

Lil' Jordan will be doing a golf clinic for kids. 

Nancy Cartwright (the voice of Bart Simpson) will read Children's Stories.  

ESPN Deportes will be broadcasting LIVE from  Children's Day.

There will be two stages again this year: The Main Stage and the Children's Stage. On the Main Stage you'll see Hip Hop dancing from The Groovaloos and The School Tours. On the Children's Stage will be some of the some of the best child performers in the Valley. 

There will also be 40 Gourmet Food Trucks! !
