NoHoWest Neighborhood Council is sponsoring a community meeting with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) with assistance from the office of Councilmember Paul Krekorian to inform customers regarding the proposed power and water rate changes being requested over the next two years. The details for this meeting are as follows:
Wednesday, May 16, 2012
6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Saticoy Elementary School Auditorium
7850 Ethel Ave.
North Hollywood, CA 91605
The proposed rate changes are deemed necessary by LADWP to meet regulatory mandates that affect much of their existing energy and water supplies, and to invest in replacing their aging infrastructure to maintain reliability for LADWP’s 1.4 million electric customers and 657,000 water customers.
