Little Shepherds of Bethlehem Reading at Campo de Cahuenga

The Campo de Cahuenga Historical Memorial Association and the Meusem of the San Fernando Valley will be staging an abridged staged reading of The Little Shepherds of Bethlemem on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

According to a press release: "This historical Nativity Play (Los Pastorcillos en Belen) was translated from Spanish and published in 1929 by Mrs. A.S.C. Forbes, 'Mother of the Campo' and California’s famous Mission Bell Lady. The historic script is based on the medieval Miracle Plays of Europe, and performed at Christmastime by the Californios of 19th Century Los Angeles. We are pleased to present it for the first time at the Campo. Rumor has it some celebrated figures from California’s past may reprise their roles!"
