Operation Gratitude, the San Fernando Valley-based non-profit, volunteer organization that sends care packages to troops deployed in war zones, to their children and to wounded soldiers recuperating, plans to celebrate when the organization's 750,000th package rolls off the assembly line on Saturday, Dec. 17.
The milestone package is expected to hit the assembly line around 11:15 a.m., according to a press release. See the attached Patch videos from last December, when Operation Gratitude celebrated its 600,000th package.
"The 750,000th Care Package will include Top Secret Surprises generously donated by our Corporate Partners," said Carolyn Blashek, who started the organization in 2003, in a press release.
Six previous Operation Gratitude milestone packages contained the keys to new vehicles, as you will see the in the videos.
