LOS ANGELES, CA — A fire damaged a house and a backyard shed in the North Hills area of Los Angeles Thursday, but no one was hurt. Firefighters sent to the 9200 block of North Aqueduct Avenue about 9:50 a.m. extinguished the flames in about 15 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Paramedics examined a person at the scene for an undisclosed medical problem that was not associated with the fire, officials said.
