G Store & Gifts Owners Opening New Store

The owners of G Store & Gifts are opening a new business specializing in fine glass, dinnerware and other everyday household items.

Z Gallia is opening at 12826 Victory Blvd. on April 22.

In 1993, Kirakos Kyufterelyan opened G Store & Gifts inside a shopping center at 11009 Burbank Blvd., a store that sells discount items starting at 99 cents to more upscale houseware.

Twenty years on, his son-in-law and market director, Zaven Pogosyan, said the time has come for an expansion.

"There's not enough parking," Pogosyan said.

Z Gallia will focus on higher end silverware made by Versace and other imported brands he said.

Once open, the new business will operate tentatively from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
