"AGNS was created out of the vision that every person should have the benefit of a good night sleep in the comfort of his or her own bed. We are tackling this issue on a national front and have located partners across the country that all have a great need for beds and bedding essentials," the organization said in its statement.
The nonprofit has delivered 227 new beds in its first year, and will start its second with an initiative called "Drive for 500," which hopes to provide at least 500 beds over the next year.
