Girl's Parents, 2 Others to Stand Trial in Pimp Slaying
Overall, four people are to stand trial for the alleged shooting death of Calvin Sneed.
Two parents charged with the murder of their daughter's pimp last year in San Francisco were ordered to stand trial Wednesday, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Lupe Felice Mercado, 38, and Barry Gilton, 39, are facing murder conspiracy charges that led to the shooting death of Calvin Sneed, 22, a suspected gang member who allegedly lured the couple's teenage daughter away from their home.
A first murder attempt was committed in North Hollywood, but Sneed survived that shooting. Former convicts 27-year-old Anthony Gilton and 36-year-old Alfonso Williams were later recruited by Mercado and Barry Gilton.

On June 4, 2012, both Giltons, who are related, and Williams were in a car when they encountered Sneed in another vehicle. According to the Times, Williams allegedly gunned down Sneed.
All four have pleaded not guilty and will be arraigned on March 27, according to the L.A. Times. They are each being held on $2 million bail.
