Officer Involved Shooting In North Hollywood; Subject In Hospital
LAPD says a "disoriented man" charged at officers with a knife, causing them to open fire.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — An officer-involved shooting took place early Friday morning at the intersection of Reseda Boulevard and Oxnard Street. Officers responded to a disturbance call in the area around 6 a.m., where police say they encountered a disoriented man wielding a knife.
LAPD says the man charged at the officers with the knife, causing them to open fire. Bullets struck the suspect and he was taken to a local hospital, and his condition is currently unknown. No officers were injured in the shooting.
